We hosted our inaugural “Climate Career Boot Camp: 201-Level Session” yesterday! We had over 30 extremely eager and passionate climate job seekers in attendance who were looking for a one-stop shop to enhance their job search!

ENERGY-EFFICIENT APPLIANCES

Energy-efficient appliances are at the forefront of combining environmental stewardship with cost savings, offering a practical solution to the average household's $2,200 annual energy expenditure. You will collaborate with C-Suite executives, stay updated on government program developments (DoD, CIA, NIH, DoE, DHS, FBI, Intelligence Community), manage grant applications, whitepapers, RFP/RFQ responses, and generate/edit technical materials. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or higher in hard science/engineering, 0-5 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments. Bonus points for experience in relevant sectors.

➵ Rhizome, a climate resilience SaaS platform provider, seeks a Customer Success Lead to build and lead a team focused on delivering top-tier service to enterprise customers, especially electric utilities. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in B2B SaaS and the energy sector, excels in collaborating with Fortune 500 clients, and has a proven track record of building and leading Customer Success teams in startup environments. They will be responsible for project management, technical support, building the customer success organization, collaborating with product and technology teams, and supporting sales and marketing efforts. A player-coach mentality and adaptability are essential, as is a passion for addressing climate change challenges.

➵ Rhizome, an AI-powered climate resilience platform, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its presence in the utility sector. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in B2B SaaS and energy, experience with enterprise-level sales and Fortune 500 clients, and a track record of successful go-to-market strategies in startup environments. They will be responsible for customer prospecting, sales enablement, partnership management, proposal development, and strategic initiatives. Experience in the utility sector, knowledge of AI/ML, and a passion for climate change solutions are highly valued.

🪴 SOFTWARE ENGINEER - DATA AND MACHINE LEARNING
➵ Rhizome, an AI-powered climate resilience platform, is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in data engineering to enhance their data processing capabilities and contribute to machine learning development. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in Python, AWS cloud, GIS data, and relational databases and has experience building large-scale ETL pipelines for data engineering, feature extraction, and statistical analysis. The role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, integrating new datasets, contributing to ML model development, and ensuring data quality and scalability. Experience with electric utility tech stacks and applied ML in the utility context is a plus.
