Climate People Stays Committed Despite Changing Political Landscape
The day after the election, Climate People turned 4.
We had a celebratory post ready to go, but like many of you, we paused and took time to process.
Founded in 2020, during the previous Trump administration, we started with the sole vision of mobilizing a workforce transition to climate. Now, as we enter another chapter under a similar political landscape, we understand the uncertainty this brings for many in the climate space.
This election has reinforced how important our mission is — even if the path to progress seems steeper now. The work may need to adapt, and climate tech might be reframed as energy or infrastructure. But at its heart, it’s still about building resilience, reducing emissions, and reinventing the traditional ways we do everything.
To everyone who has trusted us — job seekers, clients, and partners — thank you. Your commitment strengthens ours, and we remain here to support and push forward.
Here’s to the next chapter, to staying the course, and remaining resilient in the face of climate change.

Gridware’s Smart Sensors
With renewable adoption and disaster threats rising, Gridware is advancing grid resilience with smart sensors that allow utilities to detect outages instantly and prevent future issues. Founded by Tim Barat, who witnessed grid failures firsthand during Australia’s Black Saturday wildfires, Gridware’s technology enables rapid response and proactive maintenance, significantly reducing risks like wildfires. Powered by solar, their sensors operate independently of the grid and provide real-time visibility even in remote areas. As the demand for reliable energy grows, Climate People is helping Gridware expand its team to drive real-world impact.
