CLIMATE RESILIENT INFRASTRUCTURE
Climate change is impacting infrastructure worldwide, affecting energy, transport, water, waste, and telecommunications systems. Climate-resilient infrastructure is essential to withstand and recover quickly from natural hazards exacerbated by climate change. Traditional infrastructure often lacks resilience, leading to costly damage and safety threats from more frequent and intense natural disasters. Innovative solutions like flood management, drought preparedness, urban heat reduction, efficient water management, coastal protection, earthquake resilience, temperature resistance, and wind resistance are crucial.
Investing in climate-resilient construction can pay for itself in hazard-prone areas, saving up to $11 in repair costs for every dollar invested. As climate change continues to reshape our world, prioritizing climate-resilient infrastructure and supporting companies and policies that champion resilience is essential to protect communities and economies.
πͺ΄ CLIMATE TECHNOLOGY ANALYST II
β΅ Our client, an advisory firm working with startups and Fortune 500 companies to secure government funding in the semiconductor, material science, clean tech, industrial, and energy sectors, is seeking a high-exposure leader to create technical analyses and value propositions for clients. You will collaborate with C-Suite executives, stay updated on government program developments (DoD, CIA, NIH, DoE, DHS, FBI, Intelligence Community), manage grant applications, whitepapers, RFP/RFQ responses, and generate/edit technical materials. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or higher in hard science/engineering, 0-5 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments. Bonus points for experience in relevant sectors.
πͺ΄ DIRECTOR OF DATA PRODUCTS
β΅ We're partnering with a distributed energy company specializing in turning smart thermostats, EVs, batteries, and other devices into virtual power plants, supporting grid stability, and advancing solar and wind power integration. With data from over 1M+ devices, we seek a Director of Product to develop top-tier visualizations and reporting systems. This role will transform vast smart device data into solutions crucial for grid decarbonization, empowering users to understand and optimize our virtual power plant platform's impact on real-world energy challenges.
πͺ΄ CARBON SCIENTIST
β΅ We are partnering with a leader in nature analytics that integrates nature data and models to help businesses and investors make informed decisions. Their mission is to support clients on their climate journey, helping them mitigate risk and identify opportunities to achieve net zero through services like deforestation reviews, greenhouse gas reporting, and biodiversity impact assessments. This client-facing role requires an advanced degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, GIS, data analytics, or a related field (MS or PhD), with 3+ years of experience commercializing carbon science-based SaaS products. You'll engage with clients to understand their needs and work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions, using your expertise in global land sector methodologies to position the company's offerings effectively.
That's all for this edition! Thanks for doing your part in mobilizing a workforce transition to work on climate!
