GREEN CEMENT

Green cement presents an eco-friendly alternative to traditional Portland cement, which is responsible for significant carbon emissions in the construction industry. By incorporating low-carbon raw materials and optimizing production processes, green cement reduces environmental impact while maintaining performance. As the demand for sustainable infrastructure grows, the green cement market is poised for expansion, supported by government initiatives like the Inflation Reduction Act, which funds the transition to low-carbon building materials.

🪴 DIRECTOR OF DATA PRODUCTS
➵ We're partnering with a distributed energy company specializing in turning smart thermostats, EVs, batteries, and other devices into virtual power plants, supporting grid stability, and advancing solar and wind power integration. With data from over 1M+ devices, we seek a Director of Product to develop top-tier visualizations and reporting systems. This role will transform vast smart device data into solutions crucial for grid decarbonization, empowering users to understand and optimize our virtual power plant platform's impact on real-world energy challenges.

🪴 COMPUTATIONAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER
We're partnering with a company focused on accelerating the transition to a reliable, decarbonized grid by delivering software solutions to electric grid operators, utilities, and renewable energy project developers. They seek a motivated software engineer to build powerful cloud software that streamlines the deployment of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate has proficiency in Python, experience with high-performance numerical products and cloud environments, and a background in electrical engineering or computer science. Knowledge of power systems and simulation or optimization methods is a plus.

🪴 SENIOR INTERCONNECTION SPECIALIST
➵ We're partnering with a company dedicated to accelerating the transition to a reliable, decarbonized grid by providing software solutions that address the "interconnection bottleneck" for large-scale renewable energy projects. They seek an experienced interconnection/transmission planning engineer to bridge client success, business development, and engineering. The role involves informing software developers about regional interconnection processes, working closely with customers, and helping shape the company's product roadmap. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience in interconnection or transmission planning, deep familiarity with ISO/RTO processes, and a background in electrical engineering.

That's all for this edition! Thanks for doing your part in mobilizing a workforce transition to work on climate!
