NET METERING

Net metering is a billing arrangement that credits customers who generate their own electricity, often through solar panels, by feeding excess energy back into the grid. Without net metering, homeowners would need expensive battery systems to store excess energy, making renewable energy less financially viable. Net metering makes solar power more accessible by allowing customers to offset their electricity bills with the energy they produce. Unlike net billing, which credits at wholesale rates, net metering credits at retail rates, providing a greater financial incentive. Explore net metering policies in your state on the DSIRE website!

➵ We're partnering with a company focused on accelerating the transition to a reliable, decarbonized grid by delivering software solutions to electric grid operators, utilities, and renewable energy project developers. They seek a motivated software engineer to build powerful cloud software that streamlines the deployment of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate has proficiency in Python, experience with high-performance numerical products and cloud environments, and a background in electrical engineering or computer science. Knowledge of power systems and simulation or optimization methods is a plus.

🪴 CLIMATE TECHNOLOGY ANALYST I
➵ Our client, an advisory firm working with startups and Fortune 500 companies, is seeking a quick-learning technology researcher with a background in hard sciences or engineering. In this high-exposure role, you'll conduct independent research, support government funding projects, and assist with client deliverables, presentations, and strategy discussions. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, with a preference for experience in the semiconductor, material science, clean tech, or energy sectors.

➵ Our client, an advisory firm supporting startups and Fortune 500 companies, seeks a technically skilled leader to guide the development of government funding strategies in the semiconductor, material science, clean tech, and energy sectors. In this high-exposure role, you'll collaborate with C-Suite executives, lead the creation of technical analyses, and manage grant applications and RFPs. The ideal candidate has a hard science or engineering background, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate fast-paced, complex environments, with a preference for experience in the relevant industries
