FIRE TECH

Wildfires pose a major threat to our planet's forests, natural resources, and public safety, with their frequency and intensity increasing due to climate change. The US alone has experienced an average of 70,600 wildfires annually since 2000, causing extensive damage and releasing greenhouse gases. However, innovative technologies known as "firetech" are emerging to combat this issue. These solutions, ranging from wildfire detection to restoration efforts, aim to protect affected forests, wildlife, communities, and minimize wildfire risks.

Firetech offers an effective solution to control wildfires and reduce their environmental impact. Companies like Overstory, Orora Tech, and Rain provide wildfire detection technologies using AI, satellite imagery, and sensors to predict wildfires before they spread. In addition, Drone Amplified deploys autonomous drones to safely deliver water and fire retardants to burning zones. By deploying such technologies, we can enhance firefighting accuracy, improve public safety, and work towards the restoration of our ecosystems.
